2. Glass installation

2.1 Glass:

The varieties, specifications and quality standards of flat plates, embossed, coated, ice flowers, steel flowers, mirrors, mattes, patterns, carvings, floats, wire clips, color, heat absorption, hollows, interlayers, and artistic inlays must comply with the design and specification requirements.

2.2 The variety and quality of glass glue must comply with the design and specification requirements.

2.3 Other materials: glass nails, steel wire clips, rubber pads, kerosene, strips, etc. should meet the design and specification requirements.

3 main equipment

The main equipment includes: workbench, glass knife, ruler, steel tape measure (2m, 3.5m), wooden folding ruler, square ruler, wire cutter, suction cup, rubber hammer, flat shovel, glue gun, screwdriver, portable drill, electric cutting knife, etc.

4 Working conditions

4.1 Before installation of glass, it should be pre-sanctioned according to the size required by the design and combined with the actual measured size, and placed in place for use according to different specifications and installation sequence codes.

4.2 For semi-finished glass entering the site after processing, verify the size and amount of incoming materials in advance, and there must be no oblique curves or missing corners on the edge of the glass, and several parts should be selected for trial installation in a targeted manner. If there are any problems, they should be processed or replaced.

5 Operating technology

5.1 General process flow:

Glass selection and sanitation → place them in size → wipe them clean before installation → check the squareness and size of the glass and frame → determine the position of the glass → install fixed glass

5.2 Installation of human glass on the ground:

(1) The frame skeleton structure generally has three forms:

1) Lay bricks and leave troughs, and apply cement mortar to the surface.

2) Keep grooves on cast-in-place or prefabricated reinforced concrete skeletons and apply cement mortar to the surface.

3) Square steel pipe (or angle steel) overhead welding, the strength requirements are determined by the structural design.

(2) The size and thickness of the glass blocks should be determined by the structural design according to the size of the frame.

(3) In order to meet the pedestrian anti-slip requirements, frosted glass should generally be used with the frosted bristle face upwards.

(4) Cut the glass in advance according to the size and specifications of the grid, and each piece should be worn in a classified manner.

(5) Support surface requirements: Generally, one-way plate-type opposite-side support or two-way plate-type four-side support, and the width of each support surface should not exceed 4mm.

(6) The bearing surface must be polished smoothly and cleaned, with a flatness of within 3%.A 3-5mm thick rubber pad is padded on the support surface and is pasted on the support surface.

(7) Before installing glass, check that all other processes such as electrical equipment in the frame should be completed.
