III. Construction

3.1 Wall requirements

For straw wallpaper with thin paper, carefully check whether the colors of the walls are consistent before construction to prevent the bottom from being penetrated; ensure that the walls are flat and have a base film on them to ensure that the construction environment is clean and dust-free.

3.2 Glue Requirements

When construction workers paste straw weaving wallpaper, they should use sticky straw weaving special glue.

3.3 Gluing method

Glue the wall to ensure the stickiness of the glue. Use a side strip (protective belt) to prevent the glue from overflowing. Brush the glue 30 minutes before putting on the wall (according to the indoor temperature at that time, it can be adjusted appropriately).

3.4 Seam requirements

Because straw-woven wallpaper is handmade from natural materials, it cannot match the flowers and the joints cannot match, which is a normal phenomenon.Construction personnel should explain to the customer before construction and confirm with the customer after 2 to 3 pieces of construction. Only after the customer approves the construction can the construction continue.

3.5 When constructing personnel are in joints, they should pay attention to the following matters:

1. Use a sharp blade tailor. After cutting a seam, fold a piece of slice to ensure that the seam does not wrinkle and will not cause any burrs. The force level should also prevent the blade from cutting through the wall (please try to cut from the material head when cutting).

2. When tearing the joints, apply thin glue to ensure that the glue does not overflow outside the edges. You should wear white gloves during construction.

3. Use a wool scraper (or a PVC scraper wrapped with a dry towel) on a large area and scrape it smoothly. Some of the grass wires will not affect the overall effect.

4. After the joint is glued, use a special soft pressing wheel to lightly press the middle of the joint to ensure that the joint is close, and use sponge to suck out a small part of the overflowing glue (try to ensure that the glue does not overflow).

3.6 Requirements for laying

1. When laying straw wallpaper, construction workers should carefully smooth it out from top to bottom.Because the shrinkage rate of natural straw on the surface is different from that of paper-based paper, bubbles and wrinkles are likely to occur and need to be patiently smoothed.At the same time, construction personnel should do a good job of edge collection to avoid edge-raising or even tilting corners.

4. The wall must be covered with a base film and it can be pasted for about 2 days.

3.7 Post-construction requirements

It is recommended not to open doors or windows for ventilation within 48 hours after construction. On-site construction personnel should explain to customers the precautions for maintenance.
